Tales of Bravery and Stupidity is a one-man show that is brimming with humor and humanity. It is relatable, comically surreal and at times even touching. Part stand up, part storytelling it looks at some of the bravely stupid things that Bruce has done, and things we all do as we get ourselves in and out of trouble as we make our way in this complicated world.

Sea Tea Comedy Theater is proud to bring sketch comedy legend Kevin McDonald back to Hartford for a master class and a show!

Join Kevin McDonald of the Kids in the Hall as he brings his sold out workshop back to SF Sketchfest for an incredible fifth year. Through this seven hour intensive, Kevin will teach a small group of actors how to write comedy through performance and use improv as a writing tool. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to write sketches through improv. The workshop will warm up with improv games to help sharpen storytelling skills, and evolve until students are doing their own improvised scenes in small groups. You will then take these improvised scenes, work on them and make them into full comedy sketches. Kevin will go from group to group, helping and guiding with the "writing" of each scene. Each group will then have the opportunity to present their sketch. After getting notes, revising and presenting the scenes again, the workshop will end with the groups going off and actually finalizing their scenes. The now fully written scenes will be performed one last time for everyone. This workshop will improve your acting and writing skills, and will teach you how both skills work in unison to create great scenes and hilarious comedy. And if prompted, Kevin will tell lots of stories about the Kids in the Hall.
Please note this is a two day event:
Day 1 is Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Day 2 is Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
Cheaters In Love is Kevin McDonald's rock opera about, love, cheating, Kids in the Hall, New York and the 90s. And it's funny. And Kevin sings! Oh, that's a bad thing. But Kevin will be joined by several fellow performers who can sing, along with live musical accompaniment, and that's a good thing. Additional performers to be announced! $25
